Grocery shopping is one mainstay of American society that hasn’t changed much.

Amazon.com is getting into the market and will take away some money from the major grocery stores. Statista.com had a write up about them entering the grocery market. Here’s how much consumers spend on groceries annually:

Given an estimated market volume of $795 billion, Amazon’s market share amounts to little more than one percent, even though the online retailer captures more than 25 percent of the online grocery market.
