Example Of What A Shoe Company Contract Looks Like With Colleges

Here’s an example of what a financial contract looks like between a shoe company and colleges.

The University of Washington just signed a 10 year/$120 Million contract with Adidas. While that sounds like a lot, a huge part of the dollar amount is “retail value” of Adidas clothing given to the university. Around $55 Million of this deal is just that. (The actual cost to Adidas giving the clothing away probably is half that, if not less)
