Let me expand this topic by saying probably any big box retail like Target, Lowe’s or even a mall.

I was in a conversation with a homeowner yesterday on who our electric companies were. This person lives in a very nice condominium subdivision. I joke with her about it being behind a Wal-Mart, even though it’s well hidden and nice. One fascinating thing she informed me about which makes a lot of sense is whenever the power goes out in the area because of a storm or outage, their condominium subdivision never does. Reason why is because they are tied into Wal-Mart’s electrical grid which has way better power outage safeguards then residential.

So if you’re ever home shopping, take a peek around the big box stores. Never know what you may find.
