Cheers: Town Sells 3.5 Million Cans of Beer In One Year!

Beer sales are through the roof in this one Nebraska town.

The snippet below is from Omaha World-Herald.

The tribe is only about 30,000.

On a 3-0 vote, the Sheridan County Board recommended renewal of the liquor licenses for the four stores, which sell the equivalent of 3.5 million cans of beer a year. Almost all of those sales are to residents of the officially dry Pine Ridge Indian Reservation just across the South Dakota border.

In 2010, these stores sold 4.9 Million cans of beer.
