***UPDATE*** Here are the 2018 NFL Playoffs payments
The NFL playoffs begin this weekend. Players contracts are set up to pay throughout the season for the sixteen games they play.
If they make the playoffs then the players are all paid the same(flat rate).
Here is what the players earned for the 2016 playoffs:
Wild-Card Round—Division Winner: $25,000
Wild-Card Team: $23,000
Divisional Round: $25,000
Conference Championship: $46,000
Super Bowl Winner: $103,000
Super Bowl Loser: $51,000
Here is what players will earn in the 2017 playoffs:
Wild-Card Round—Division Winner: $27,000
Wild-Card Team: $24,000
Divisional Round: $27,000
Conference Championship: $49,000
Super Bowl Winner: $107,000
Super Bowl Loser: $53,000
