For 25 plus years, American Christmas cannot be celebrated without watching National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation.

In the movie, Randy Quaid plays the uncle we all probably have within our own family, Cousin Eddie. What sticks out the most is his dress attire he displays in the 1989 setting. His choice is 1970’s leisure suits.

The financial question is, just how much did he spend on his outfits? I decided to scour the internet and see if I could find some pricing from back in the day. From my research, Cousin Eddie probably spent anywhere between $30-$50 for his leisure suits.
