While death is a part of life, it is also very sad losing loved ones. Once the deceased passes the uncomfortable part kicks in…planning the funeral. They can be very expensive to just simple.
So what does a funeral cost in America?
As of 2014, a traditional burial cost around $7,200, an increase of 29 percent from a decade earlier, according to the National Funeral Directors Association.

I have had to help organise 4 cremations in the last 6 years in Australia (no service costs) & the costs of just the cremations were:
2010: $3,000 AUD ($2,308 USD)
2012: $4,500 AUD ($3,462 USD)
2015: $5,000 AUD ($3,846 USD)
2016: $6,000 AUD ($4,616 USD)
This was without an elaborate cremation or service as well

interesting price increase. Cremations and service here in the U.S. runs lower than an actual funeral but still up there.
