New report has come out showing a higher percentage of refugee children
in America get more welfare than American children do according to the Washington Examiner. The report,
“Young Children of Refugees in the United States: Integration Successes and Challenges” shows the following:
30 percent of refugee children live in households that received food stamps from 2009-13.
8 percent received cash welfare
5 percent of children of refugees were part of Social Security’s Supplemental Security Income program
